Find Your Feet (FYF) is a British charity that is dedicated to bringing hope and self-sufficiency to poverty-stricken communities in India and southern Africa . Through working in partnership with local organisations, we enable communities to increase their levels of food production, income, healthcare and education so that they can build a better future for themselves.
We believe that by actively involving whole communities in finding solutions to the issues with which they are faced, we can increase the long-term success of our projects. For this reason, we design our projects in such a way as to involve local people in every stage of the projects' planning and implementation.
Through our projects, we enable small-scale farmers to increase agricultural production while making sustainable use of natural resources. We also provide people with vocational training and ongoing support so that they can work their way out of the poverty cycle and gain access to health and educational facilities.
FYF's work depends on generous support from individuals, charitable trusts and the donor community. We are committed to managing our resources efficiently and keeping overheads to a minimum.
